With a Master's Degree in Piano, Ana Fau is an experienced teacher, and performer. Ana has taught at the Oakbrook Academy of Music, and French Lycee, and is currently a faculty member at Merit School of Music.Her students have won gold, silver an bronze medals at the Chicago Association of Music Teachers annual Sonatina Piano Competition 2007. Philosophy: I consider myself a guide. I like to plant the seed of curiosity in the student, and encourage him/her to discover what is posible, while learning how to play the piano
I m happy to say that my methods work, and that while having a good time in class, my students learn how to read music, from day one. Also proper technique, and hand position.
